Senior Marketing Analyst

R Senior Marketing Analyst (Open)Job Summary

The senior analyst will provide analytic and strategic support to Overstock.com's marketing department as well as helping to train and mentor junior analysts.


Job Responsibilities



  • The senior analyst will also be responsible for the creation of statistical models to predict customer behavior and performance of marketing initiatives, as well as for creating and measuring specific performance metrics.

  • Manipulating and analyzing large data sets and poses excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills.



  • Perform other duties as required and assigned by manager and upper management.

  • Follow legal policies as directed.


Job Requirements



  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience

  • Experience mentoring and training junior analysts

  • Desire to transition into a management role within a year

  • A strong understanding of economic and financial concepts

  • Familiarity with Online and Digital Marketing


Skills



  • Command of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with relational databases (SQL, Microsoft Access, etc.)

  • Familiarity with statistical data analysis (SAS, SPSS, KXEN, etc.)


Education

  • Degrees in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other quantitative fields with relevant business experience also considered.

  • MBA or other advanced degree a plus

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
