R Social Media Team Lead (Open)

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Social Media Team. Will manage a team of social media practitioners who engage with our target consumer across a number of different channels. Manages social media channels for big brands, while adopting new technologies. Analyze data, gathering insights, and using them to inform strategic direction. This position reports to the Director of Social Media.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee content strategy for the following channels: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Polyvore, Pinterest, and YouTube.

  • Work with social media and customer service teams to ensure customer feedback and comments are responded to and resolved in a timely manner.

  • Develop and implement innovative, on-trend social media campaigns that resonate with our target consumer.

  • Support company-wide marketing strategy and initiatives.

  • Monitor market trends, best practices, competitors, and the social media industry with special focus on managed platforms and communicate insights to the team and cross-functional groups as appropriate.

  • Work with outside vendors / partners as necessary.

  • Work with social media analyst to understand campaign performance, and draw from insights to inform content and channel strategy.

  • Perform other duties as required and assigned by manager and upper management.

Job Requirements

  • Preferred 3-5 years previous work experience in social media for a large consumer brand, either in house or in an agency environment

  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

  • Working knowledge of enterprise level social media tools


  • €‹Should be seasoned in B2C social media and marketing tactics/practices, analytics, and reporting

  • Knowledge of online retail/e-commerce space


€‹BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
